History:
With over 30 years of expertise, Nordic Recycling Systems embarked on a mission to transform waste management, considering waste a valuable asset rather than a burden. Focusing on the handling and sorting of used beverage containers, we recognized its pivotal role in unlocking the potential of recyclable materials.

As industry pioneers, we introduced sorting solutions, revolutionizing the recovery of beverage containers. Expanding our offerings to include sorting of various beverage fractions, we established full-scale sorting plants that set new efficiency standards in waste management.

Driven by innovation and sustainability, we developed the groundbreaking Minimator—a unique compaction unit for beverage containers. The Minimator significantly reduces the volume of beverage containers, minimizing transportation requirements and CO2 emissions.

Our commitment to innovation led to the design and installation of the world’s first air transport system for reverse vending machines at COOP Lillestrøm, Norway. This milestone project reflects our ability to translate cutting-edge innovation into practical solutions for businesses and the environment.
